If there is one thing peculiar to all prospective film-makers, it is knowing that filming is an exhausting process, especially when there's a compact crew and a shoe-string budget. Amidst all the chaos of trying to cover and transfer as many scenes as possible from the script into becoming shots for screen, it is extremely easy to forget that this process is supposed to be fun as well.

We, a crew of seven students on a mission to add value to the filming process, forgot it too. It was Jovian who made things a little brighter for us all.

Jovian – our nine year old long haired, smiley, junior Ranbir Kapoor, child actor and the protagonist of our film.

Jovian helped us in seeing the brighter side of filming, even at times when the process of filming was not going as planned.

Our day began with his cheerful voice followed by numerable high-fives, and intricate details about his local train journey from Bhayander to Dombivali every day.

As an actor, he would often ask questions about his character. He had this magical ability to transform once the camera was switched on. As a nine-year-old, he was mischievous, fun and an absolute ball of energy, as an actor he was thoughtful, curious and sensitive.

Jovian may be little, but he has a big personality. Red Lays is his favourite. And somehow, he manages to give out the best hugs!
